After an incredible journey, I arrived home to something truly special—something that represents a deep level of respect, recognition, and an unforgettable experience. Sitting in my hands was a challenge coin and patch from Captain Chris Hill, the Commanding Officer of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). This wasn’t just a token or souvenir; this was a direct acknowledgment from one of the most powerful and storied aircraft carriers in the U.S. Navy.
